Description: Up for sale is this sweet kitty cat cookie mold from Brown Bag Cookie Art. This stoneware mold, copyright 1983, measures 6 ½” x 4 ¼” and is in excellent condition with no chips or cracks that I can see. The cat is holding a bunch of flowers. This is one of Lucy Natkiel’s early molds. The back has Brown Bag Cookie Art Hill Design copyright 1983 incised in the wet clay. Though most often used to make cookies, these molds have lots of other uses as well, from casting delicate paper images for cards and scrapbooks, to fashioning beeswax ornaments, or creating fragrant cinnamon pomanders. Because Lucy has “retired,” all Brown Bag molds are highly collectable.
