Bru Jne #13 Bebe 28" Reproduction by Colleen Phillips Excellent Condition

Description: This is a reproduction 28” Bru Jne #13 French Bebe by Colleen Phillips. She has paperweight glass eyes with high domes and deep spirals. Her goat hair tailed wig is golden blonde, very similar to what you would see on an antique Bru.Her costume is made of antique materials including velvet, brocade and old laces. The dress and coat are one piece and close in the back with 12 snaps. It fits her fully jointed and poseable composition french body just right. Her vintage straw base hat is covered with pink roses on top and has a rich dark pink velvet ribbon around the brim. The hat also has an ostrich plume for added drama. Her Bru forearms are tinted and blushed in the same manner as the antique dolls. She has pierced ears with antique style dangle earrings and her vintage garnet necklace is also included. Her stockings are made from silk knit and she wears suede leather shoes with ribbon rosettes on the pointed toes. Her clothing is in excellent condition, her body has some cracks and crazing (see photos), she is well strung, and can sit upright. Her face is in mint condition. She was owned by a doll collector and was displayed in a cabinet behind glass in an airconditioned room in a smoke free home.
