This is a great alternative if you're looking for a high quality, vintage French saxophone for a fraction of the cost of a Selmer BA or SBA. The horn looks to have lived a fairly trauma free life with just a few signs of use that are expected with a vintage horn. There are some scratches here and there, a little bit of honest lacquer wear, and a small resolder repair on the neck fulcrum, but otherwise, it's still in excellent condition with nearly all of its beautiful, vintage lacquer intact. The horn does not appear to have been played much in recent years, so at a minimum, we'd recommend a visit to your favorite tech to get the horn up to speed for your preferences, and as is typical with vintage horns, a fresh overhaul would be ideal to get everything out of it.
