Description: 7 Organically grown bunchberry plants Collected and planted last year They have come up again this year. Grow bunchberry in moderately rich, well-drained soil; they can take a soil that is evenly moist but not soggy. Cornus canadensis prefers cool growing conditions and moist, slightly acidic Height: 6" Bloom: spring to early summer Evergreen Red berries in fall partial to full sun Hardy zones 2-7 My plants are not "freshly harvested" then shipped to you. WHY? When a plant is collected the root system is disturbed, the plants are weakened. When a plant has a root system that has been disturbed, all resources go into repairing the root system, meaning the plant will wilt and lose all top growth. This leads to the scenario every buyer dreads, "I planted and watered, but now I just have dead sticks in the ground" I may charge a little more, but I take the time to collect plants, heal (heel) them in, let them lose top growth, if that is what they need, and only ship them once new top growth or root growth has begun. This makes it easier on the plant to be shipped and replanted. And hopefully keeps the "dead stick" syndrome from happening to you! I am always here and happy to answer any questions you may have in regards to your plants. Please plant upon arrival and water daily **********************************************************************************************
