Description: Designed and handcrafted in USA. Included in this listing One 1/2” diameter Ferrocerium rod with osage orange wood handle One carbon steel striker made from a vintage file. The ferro rod handle has a 1/4 inch Lanyard hole with stainless steel sleeve. Ferro rod is secured to the handle with a bronze pin and epoxy. Finish on the ferro handle two coats of boiled linseed oil then buffed with paste wax. Sharp 90 degree angle Edges have been ground onto each side of the striker. The striker will scrape copious amounts of hot metal off any ferrocerium rod. Coin and ruler in photos are for perspective only and not for sale.
