Description: A Masons ironstone covered sauce tureen. In a most unusual color of celadon/sea foam green with partial gilt trim. Having a relief molded border.The piece shows normal wear to painting and gilt with glaze kiln imperfections. The bottom of tureen with hand painted floral decoration and the straight line impressed mark dating to 1818. The lid has been broken in several pieces and crudely glued back together also marked.
