Description: An interesting and rare vintage cardboard chocolate box from the Queen Anne Company. This Cherry KING brand must have been a limited release with a possible attempted to have a more masculine label to attracted males because unlike other Queen Anne chocolate boxes, they made it difficult to find it was made by Queen Anne with only advertising the company name on the sides in quite small print. It is a little difficult to determine the age because there were virtually none that I could find to compare with. They started producing their famous chocolate covered cherries in cordial cream in 1948 and judging by the style maybe late 50's or early 60s. Condition is good especially when considering this is a vintage cardboard chocolate box. You might notice some brown spotty spots on the interior box but this might be something with the cardboard as the inside of the bottom and lid doesn't have any browning or stains. The cover lid does show some wear around the edges and has light creases but I think it's remarkably well preserved for a cardboard box. Approx. 6-7/8" (L) x 4-1/8" (W) x 2-3/8" (H)
