Description: Original Impressionist oil painting by American landscape painter Hugo Melville Fisher (1878-1946). An early spring or late autumn landscape with patches of snow on the ground and houses on the distant hills. The painting is an oil stretched canvas and is signed in the lower left by the artist. Great size, the painting measures 30 x 26 inches and with its frame the outside dimensions are 37 1/4 x 33 1/4 inches. The frame is somewhat newer, looks to be a circa 1980s good quality gallery frame with linen liner, suits the painting nicely. The painting has very minor surface grime, otherwise it is in excellent condition.
