Description: This listing is for a sample of Mississippian microconcentrate rich in conodont remains. Fish teeth and scales and occasional shark teeth can also be found. Rare material. The material is from the Prospect Hill Formation of Iowa. Each sample had to be dissolved using acetic acid from the limestone matrix. An identification card is included so that you can name many of the specimens that you find. The images shows a typical sample spread out in a 2x2 inch plastic sorting tray. The sample itself is housed in a gel capsule about 3cm long. Images show typical specimens like the one you will receive. We combine shipping on all orders.
