Description: CARL PERKINS - Blue Suede Shoes Repro sheet music. Although this does credit Carl Perkins as the writer the picture on the front is that of Charlie Feathers !. At the time Feathers was recording for Sun and by mistake his photo was sent to the U.K. for use in producing this sheet music. It's 1956 and nobody in the U.K. had heard of Carl Perkins, let alone what he looked liked. So the picture of Charlie Feathers was used as it was thought that this was Perkins. Just one of those quirky mix-ups. Later printings of this sheet music showed Elvis on the cover (No such mix-up there). So, in 1956 CHARLIE FEATHERS was nearly famous in the U.K. without anybody knowing it !. This is new and has full musical score etc. Looks great in a frame.
