Description: Carnaval de Binche by Louis Buisseret (France, 1910) approx. 39.25″ x 24.25″ Fine art print of a rare, vintage poster, created by Louis Buisseret (1888-1956) to advertise the Carnival of Binche held during the three days before Lent in the Belgian town of Binche near the French border. The Binche Mardi Gras (Carnival) , dates back to the 14th century, and was declared by UNESCO a “Masterpiece of the Oral and Intangible Heritage of Humanity. The print is reproduced on Premium Heavy Stock paper, which captures all the vivid colors and details of the original. It is in good condition but there are a few rips at the corners where it was attached to the frame (see photos). Size L 39 ″ x 23. 5” 89 x 60 (cm). Sold Unframed.
