It has the latest 26740 Carrera D132 F1 chip, giving this car the opportunity for high speed racing action on either a Carrera digital track or, with its automatic digital to analog and back capability, a contender on any analog circuit. Additional upgrades include the new and trued Ortmann polyurethane tires. The car comes with the original Perrelli P-Zero rear tires which are still pliable and new. There are other F1s listed on ebay that are new, and there are some used ones as well, but the cars I sell are top performers out of the box, given that the upgrades/tuning have already been done. For the price, based on what's out there, this car, and other cars I am selling are your best bet for “dollar to performance” on any track directly out of the box. Although these cars are shipped in a display case, the cases are not original to the car, however the cases come with the correct nameplate for the car on display. So if you are buying the car for collector purposes they are not the original cases. These cars are meant to race.
