Description: This pair of Carson Dellosa, magnetic, computer scheduling charts is adorable! I laminated them for durability! This set is brand new and in excellent condition! I created it right before I retired, so I never got to use it. My intent was to display them right next to my classroom computer center which consisted of 4 computers. This set contains extra labeled magnetic mini computers, so if you have more than 4 computers in your classroom, you can attach more magnetic strip to the charts and add students to days of the week. One chart does have a crease in the corner, due to storage. I have enclosed a closeup picture of this. This set comes from a smoke free home. These colorful charts measure 22" x 17". They are part of the Carson Dellosa "Chartlets" series. I simply used these charts to create a magnetic computer schedule. To do so, I laminated some pages from a mini Carson Dellosa notepad that matched the computer character on the charts. I cut them out, added white labels to the front of them, and attached magnets to the back of them. I then created a set of abbreviated days of the week on yellow cardstock, laminated those, cut them out, and also attached magnets to the back. Last of all, I added magnets to the large computer character wall charts. Along with the 2 charts, this set also contains 40 magnetic pieces (2 sets of abbreviated days of the week: Mon.-Fri. and 30 labeled mini computers). Student's names are meant to be written on the labels. The labels can be easily removed, or you could simply put new labels on top of the old ones each year. On the back of each chart is a Resource Guide with ideas for integrating the chart into the classroom curriculum, although you would not use these, as they require the charts to be written on. But, the Resource Guide also gives a list of suggested books to be read to begin discussions about computers, robots, and technology. The books are divided up into a K-3 section and a Grades 3-6 section. There are 8 books under the K-3 section and 9 under the Grades 3-6 section. The listing includes the title, author, copyright, and a 1 sentence synopsis. On the back of the chart, there is also a blank copy of the computer screen found on the front that can be used as a reproducible to make awards, name tags, stationery, etc. for classrooms. These Carson Dellosa Chartlets are rare and very hard to find, as they are older items! I have not seen any currently selling online. This set would make a wonderful addition to a preschool, kindergarten, or 1st grade classroom! I am hoping to find it a good home.
