Description: This is a vintage Case 6111 ½ L “Cheetah” folding guard lockback pocket knife.The tang stamp is CASE XX USA 10 dot 1980 "lightning S".The knife is 4-3/8” closed with brass liners.The blade steel is CV (carbon) steel.The blade has smooth action, great snap, locks properly.The folding guard is tight with no movement.The blade has no side to side wobble.The bovine bone handles have great "Appaloosa" color.The handles have no cracks or damage. A mint knife - never sharpened, carried, or cleaned, original factory blade finish and factory edge.There is no original box, as when these knives were made, Case boxed knives in bulk, not individually.The knife will be shipped wrapped in a new Case anti-tarnish wrapper and in a recent Case box.The handles on this knife were crafted from South American Zebu cattle shin bone. Genus/Species - Bos indicus or Bos taurus indicus.
