Description: We are pleased to offer for your buying consideration a CHARMING ANTIQUE GERMAN WICKER DOLL CARRIAGE WITH ANTIQUE GERMAN ALL BISQUE BABY DOLL! We have seen miniature wicker carriages offered in the past, but rarely in this wonderful SMALLER SCALE that is the perfect size for FASHION DOLLS or small Bebes! The carriage measures a DIMINUTIVE 5 3/4" long including its handles and wheels and is 4 3/4" long without, 5" tall to its canopy hood, and is 2 1/2" deep. It is made of natural wicker with a wooden bottom and black painted wooden wheels, and has decorative antique die cut floral embellishments on each side with an antique blue silk ribbon tied in a bow around the carriage handle. It is in overall good condition with minor age wear with the wicker still intact and in sturdy shape, promising to be DISPLAY READY for your antique doll collection! The little antique German all bisque baby included in this offering is totally ALL ORIGINAL, measuring a tiny 4 1/2" tall, and is jointed at the upper arms and legs. He has painted BLONDE HAIR and sweetly painted features, wearing his FACTORY ORIGINAL outfit consisting of a cream organdy cotton and lace trimmed baby gown with shawl collar and matching bonnet, and original cotton pinned diaper! There are markings on the back shoulder which appear to be incised numbers "9769", most likely of German origin and circa early 1900's. It is in overall excellent condition, and with the exception of a rough painted patch on the back of his head done in the manufacturing process, there are no noted chips, hairlines or repairs! For scale purposes we have shown it being modeled by our 13" antique French Fashion doll (not included in this offering) so you can get an idea of how it would look displayed with one of your very own antique Poupees or small Bebes. Please note that the wicker carriage and all bisque baby is solely what is being offered in this listing; any other dolls or accessories are not included.
