For your consideration is a wonderful, slightly warped, cabinet photograph identified in ink on the verso as "Inlet at Chatham - About 1888". It measures approximately 8" x 5" (including border). The actual image measures 7 1/2" x 4 1/2". This photo offers a great view of the people in boats with the houses above them on the bluff. Note the Twin Lighthouses and the remains of the keeper's house in the distance (Please see our second Chatham photo auction showing a close up of those ruins). There are two very small spots of paper loss on the verso and overall soiling. Please view the enlargeable scans carefully and contact me with any questions.
