Description: Chess is anything but simple, so the title is already misleading--the author hides an excellent work ! What is simple is his approach-- well-chosen games with minimal variations and maximum explanation on topics of middlegame principles. Some are common (outposts, Bishop pair, etc) but all are important. I like his including large sections on the IQP and Pawn play. Quite a bit of advice packed into a 144-page book. Not indexed. Come back often as I am liquidating a large book collection. I do reduce shipping to match actual cost when you buy multiple books.
