The main body of the vase with alternating ruyi head cartouches with mandarin figures in different daily pursuits including conversation and tea making. The ladies' hair is highlighted in gold. The other alternating cartouches with exotic birds, butterflies, peonies and ripened fruit and foliage. The neck with other figural cartouches. Between the cartouches peony, chrysanthemum, and meandering green tendrils against a gold ground.The neck has been broken and crudely repaired but the vase is still decorative .height approx 26 cms .Stand for display only .Stock number 1160
