This is a Chinese clay Foo Dog (or Foo Lion) figurine purchased in or near China. It is signed, but I cannot read the signature. It is made of reddish brown clay with some white for teeth, eyes, nails. This is a really detailed figurine. Look over the photos, they describe this piece much better than I can in words.
