Description: Chinese yunnan puer tea (dark tea) - Burmese shu puer, 2022 200g Pressed dark tea (shu puer tea) produced by Menghai Li Shi He (exclusively for Nie Qun Hao brand). Pancake-shaped, weight: 200 grams, year of production: 2022. I was very interested in the possibility to produce such an interesting tea with Burmese tea raw materials (in my store you can also find loose Hei Cha [dark tea] from Burma), so I decided to give it a try. It turned out to be quite good and quite budget-friendly. Why is the name "puer" and in the description you see the name "hei cha" - you will probably ask this question. The answer is that there is no mistake as far as only tea made of local Yunnan tea raw can be sold under the name of puer. But in this case the tea raw materials are from Burma (Myanmar), that is a third-grade loose tea, but produced by a factory on the territory of Yunnan province by the same technology as a shu puer. Taste is nutty and woody, with a typical shu puer note of prunes. The infusion is thick, dark.
