Description: Pair of Vintage Famille Verte Cabbage Leaf Bok Choy Cabbage Butterfly Candle Holders Beautifully enameled pair of taper candle holders with a very elegant shape. These hand painted porcelain candle holders have all of the iconic hallmarks of the Bok Choy pattern including Beautifully textured Chinese Cabbages in various shades of green accented by the painted butterfly moths in light blue, orangy red and yellow with black accents. The center of the candle holders are graced with four red birds and red lotus flowers with vivid green foliage matching the colors of the Chinese cabbage leaves. In addition, there is rich gilding and so much texture to these pieces that it is almost like basket weave on the bottom leaves. Each candle holder is marked on the bottom Made in China with a manufacturer's mark of a circle and a W in the center. Numbers on one candle holder read C11. They both have little to no enamel loss. They are both in very excellent vintage condition with no chips or cracks. These are unique and hard to find in a pair and would make a wonderful addition to any Bok Choy Collection.
