Description: Chronological Chart of Anglican Church Architecture - Original Lithograph, 1844 Illustrations by Francis Bedford (1816 - 1894). Bedford was quite young when he became an accomplished architectural draughtsman and lithographer. While he was an extremely talented lithographer, he is perhaps best known for his photographic work, which he initially would use as an aid to his lithography. In his later years, he would become one of the most prominent British photographers to date. He is also a founding member of the Photographic Society (est. 1853). Furthermore, his grandson, Francis Donkin Bedford, illustrated some famous works, including 'Peter and Wendy' and 'A Christmas Carol'. Considering the age of this print, it is in good condition. It is important to note that it does have some noticeable foxing, some smudges and a small tear on the upper R. Most, if not all, would be covered by a mat.
