Description: For sale is a very rare Looney Tunes animation cel signed by Chuck Jones and entitled High Strung. This particular cel is numbered 54 of only 100 made and includes the COA. It depicts a scene of Bugs Bunny infuriating the opera singer with his folksy banjo songs in the classic short Long-Haired Hare. As fans of this famous episode know, Bugs goes on to pose as the opera conductor 'Leopold' and gets his revenge on the singer This cel really is in excellent shape. The frame looks very nice and uses 'conservation glass' to protect against damage from light, humidity, etc. A sticker on the back explains this and shows it was originally framed by the Margaret Smith Gallery in Maryland. I do not notice any wear/damage on the front of the frame or the cel itself. The frame does have several non-visible very small flaws. It has a very small nick on its left edge (Picture #12). The bottom edge also has a small scuff (Picture #13). Finally, the paper on the back of the frame has a small hole (Picture #16) as well as a few light marks (Pictures #17-18). PLEASE NOTE: The cost of shipping includes insurance. Please examine all pictures for the best idea of condition and feel free to ask any questions you may have!
