Cibie Vintage H4 Headlight 7 Inch Diameter Made in France Bobi

Description: CIBIE 7" Headlight DOT Bulb Type Sealed Beam H 6014 1980s, With Bulb! This is an excellent used CIBIE 7" headlamp, which has been in storage for many years. These are the DOT-approved "Sealed Beam" type, which use H4 halogen bulbs inside a small inner globe to make them airtight. It's a 12.8 Volt 65/55 Watt. I've never used this particular lamp however it may have been used previously. This headlamp looks to be in really good condition and has the H4 bulb which seems to be intact. I have not tested this lamp. Condition- -The overall glass of the lens has no cracks, is clear and the parabola chrome plating is in very good condition. The backside rubber of the bulb cover is still intact and flexible, the plug blades are clean and the back side of the parabola looks very good with the finish and lettering intact. -There a very small 1mm stone chip or manufacturing divet on the right hand side of the lens which, I'm not sure if its from use or was in the making of the original glass, however I don't believe it would affect the lighting throw as it's so small. The glue holding the lens to the parabola looks to have "patina" but it's still holding together well. Not only is the beam pattern of the CIBIE headlamp excellent, but being DOT-approved will get your car past motor vehicle safety inspection if that's applicable where you live. Please see the photos with this listing for condition details. I have included images of all labeling on the back sides of the lamps. The front lenses of the lamps are marked "2D1" at the top, "DOT" and "C" in the center, and "BULB TYPE SEALED BEAM" at the bottom. There are also a very-tiny "A" and round symbol at the bottom between the words "TYPE" and "SEALED". The gray rubber boots around the bulbs are marked "TOP" and "CIBIE" and both boots are in excellent flexible condition to keep water out.
