Description: Very rare cast iron airplane cigarette & cigar lighter. Lighter ignites by lifting wing top and turning propeller. No markings, 6 1/4" tall x 7 3/4" wide x 9" long. Wing opens to reveal cigarettes or cigars holder. Wick looks like never used or very little, needs flint & lighter fluid. I have never tried to ignite. Very close to looking like SPIRIT OF STAINT LOUIS FROM 1927. Original paint is what's called wrinkle finish, color is a light silvery with a gold highlight. Only a few paint chips here and there. This is the best condition I have ever seen one in. Most likely made late 1920's or early 30's. First 7 pictures with flash look to be golder highlight but with the naked eye it looks more silver. Excellent condition!
