Description: Up for sale, what I believe to be a circa 2001 USA Fender Stratocaster (at least the neck is for certain). I checked the Fender website with the serial number and it states that this serial accompanies a Chrome Red Stratocaster - which this is obviously NOT (it's a cream/white). So, I'm not really certain what the body is, beyond the fact that it appears to be a Fender HSS body but I have to admit origin unknown. I know the neck is a proper USA neck but obviously the body was swapped somewhere along the way. Maybe someone can clue me in if there is something simple to check here or perhaps the pics will reveal the bodies country of origin. I see some finish cracks where the neck meets the body and see a few areas of significant finish wear on the body - looks sanded down (pictured). It otherwise appeaers structurally sound and seems to have a good string height, etc.... Frets show hardly any wear. I do note (very) minor noise in the switch, the potentiometers are quiet. Pickups sound great, no issues. See pics for condition and feel free to ask questions. I may not be able to answer them competently but I'll give it a shot. I'll find a gig bag for shipping. US bidders/buyers only please. This will ship tracked and insured.
