The order also charges an officer of the 1st NY Engineers and a private of the 144th NY with abandoning their post while on guard at a sentinel post and also charges a black soldier of the 32nd US Colored Troop with "Desertion in the face of the enemy" for leaving his comrades while facing the enemy at Deveaux Neck, SC and trying to flee North on the US Mail steamer Arago. 4pp 8 x 5" ptd.
