Description: This is a color unposted postcard of the Municipal Stadium at 1085 West 3rd Street in Cleveland, Ohio. It opened in 1931 and was demolished in 1996. It was the home of the Cleveland Indians and Cleveland Browns and had a tremendous capacity, 78,000 for baseball and 81,000 for football. It was published by the Tichnor Bros., Inc., of Boston, Massachusetts. Its title on the obverse is, "Crowd Leaving Municipal Stadium". There is an approximate three-inch crease that can be seen on both sides of the postcard. Domestic USPS First-Class mail is included.
