NCAA Basketball double-header with host DePaul vs. Kentucky & Loyola vs. Seton Hall. Kentucky was a powerhouse team in 1951-52 - led by two future NBA Hall of Famers Cliff Hagan and Frank Ramsey. It was the final game of the regular season and Kentucky held off DePaul 63 - 61. Kentucky finished the season with a 29 - 3 W/L record and ended the year ranked #1, even though they lost their final game to St. John’s. Loyola, led by future NBA player Don Hanrahan, pulled off a minor upset over 14th ranked Seton Hall, who featured future 2 X NBA All-Star Walter Dukes. Nice package of basketball history.
