Description: A brand new item;NTSC format, DVD, 43 minutes The Fox River Valley in NortheastWisconsin first heard a locomotive whistle in the early 1860’s when the Chicago& North-Western pushed its line up through Oshkosh, Appleton, De Pere, andto Green Bay. The Fox Valley became a“spaghetti bowl” of track as the lines of three railroads- the C&NW,Milwaukee Road, and the Soo Line all passed through and did business there.Today, all the lines mentioned arehistory, with their main lines and branches were severed, new connections made, and other parts completely abandoned. This work was partially done by the carriers themselves, with the bulkof the surgery performed by the Wisconsin Central Limited, who formed a moreefficient system. All of their work inthis area, plus the rest of the system, were conveyed to the Canadian Nationalin October 2001, forming the scene we have at present.
