The capacitors used are Super Low ESR Panasonic SP-Caps paired with MLCC's in order to effectively filter out electrical noise across high and low frequencies and feed the CPU & GPU clean power for many more years to come. These new capacitors are usually useful if your system randomly crashes during gameplay, or if the system consistently triple beeps when attempting to shut it off normally. 1 COKilizer PCB replaces 2 NEC TOKIN capacitors. "Fat" PS3 models:You will need 4 COKilizers to replace all 8 NEC TOKIN capacitors found in "fat" PS3 models. "Slim" PS3 models: You will need 2 COKilizers to replace all 4 NEC TOKIN capacitors found in 2000 series PS3 models.
