Description: Frame size is 21.25" x 17.25". All solid wood, and very expensive these days. The art board is a standard 12 x 16". Paul Carlyle (1900-1969) was an New York author and an ad agency artist. He left Gray Advertising Agency to form an agency with Guy Oring called Carlyle and Oring. These two authored several books (including LEARNING TO LETTER; last pic) put out by McGraw Hill. I purchased several of his works from the estate dealer, and some additional photos of his signatures are included. He sometimes uses initials, and other times signs first and last name, or just his last name. See b/w pic for signature. This beautiful painting by commercial artist Paul Carlyle showcases a stunning floral still life that is sure to add a touch of elegance to any room. The use of oil paints on art board brings out the vibrant colors and intricate details of the flowers, making it a true masterpiece. The painting is an original. It is perfect for art lovers and collectors alike, especially those who appreciate the beauty of nature and still life paintings.
