Coverdale's work was based on the Zurich Bible of Zwingli, the Vulgate, the Latin text of Paginius, Martin Luther's Bible and Tyndale's New Testament. This was the first Bible to introduce chapter summaries instead of just chapter headings. Due to the quality of the scans used for this facsimile, the marginal notes were lost. There are also some pages with minor text loss due to the condition of the original Bible. Otherwise, this is a readable copy of a 1535 Bible!
