Description: THIS IS NOT AN ENTIRE DRILL PRESS. IT IS A SLOW SPEED INTERMEDIATE PULLEY AND ADAPER ONLY. Example drill press shown to illustrate fit and function only. No belts included. Read the entire listing. This is a slow speed adapter ONLY, not an entire drill press. Speed Reducer / Increaser. Makes your 4 speed drill press into 12 speeds ranging from 1/2 your current minimum speed to 2x your current maximum speed. No, I don't have a speed chart for you. This is designed to fit Craftsman 113-24560, Model 100 and 150 drill presses (Model prefix 103) with factory 4 groove pulleys. The pulley runs very low to the head stock casting making this a tricky drill press to build a reducer for. As you know factory units are $300 and up on the rare occasion you can buy one. This aftermarket unit will serve you fine as described. Primary benefit is running drills at low speeds for metal working. Also great for small drill bits requiring very his speeds. Photos 1 & 2 are of the slow speed adapter kit you are buying. Nothing else included. No drill press included. Photo 3,4 & 5 show unit installed in Craftsman 150 series drill press belonging to customer OneHotRodAtATime. Note tight clearance possible to headstock which is a special challenge for the 100 and 150 series drill presses. DRILL PRESS IS PROP AND NOT FOR SALE. Photo 6 is James from College Park Georgia showing off his new drive. Keeping American iron working in his beautiful shop. Thanks James! Pulley self-centers between drive and spindle pulley requiring no tools for belt changes. Proper belt sizes must be chosen. Belts are not included. My best guess for 100 and 150 Craftsman drill presses is 4L 26.5" front belt and 4L 23" rear belt. Belts shown in photo's are not actual suggested sizes. I really like the Fenner 4L belt (1/2" wide belting) as a sure to fit solution. Your Drill Press MUST comply with the following: 1. Your column bore at the top is open and accessible.2. Your column bore at top is 2 15/32" (2.470") ID at the top (1/32" .032 over or under is ok)3. The step inside the bore must be 1 3/4" (1.750") below the top of the column tube. The step is a counter bore and must be present down in the tube. Down below this point the ID of your column tube is smaller. 4. Your motor pulley must be flipped over. All of them I've seen can be flipped over. I have not seen yours. Check before ordering. 5. Your drill press must be a Craftsman 113-24560, 100 or 150 4 speed model with the factory pulleys. 6. Happy Customer (Drill press not included - photo for example of pulley installed.) 7. Happy Customer Walter's 15 from 1965 (Drill press not included - photo for example of pulley installed.) If you do not have a Craftsman 113-24560, 100 or 150 drill press that meets the above description do not order this item. If your Craftsman 113-24560, 100 or 150 does not have a step in the column, check the bottom as somebody prior may have installed the column upside down. Feel free to contact me if your Craftsman 113-24560, 100 or 150 is different in some way. There are a few rare ones which were a different size. Contact me first and we'lll send you the special size you need. The adapter is made by me in my shop by additive manufacturing of tough ABS. It includes metal clamping and pivoting hardware. The pulley is cast iron loaded with sealed ball bearings and ready to use in the proper machines as described. This item is made from parts manufactured by me and sourced components. An 5mm wrench Allen bolt snugs the adapter into your column to prevent rotation. This bolt should only be SNUGGED. This requires a metric stubby (low profile) Hex L wrench. You may need to cut one down to do this. The adapter must be turned so the pivot arm when centered has the pivot axis offset to operators right side of the drill press and the pivoting arm points to the operators left side. The idea is to give the center pulley the maximum amount of floating movement to the front and back of the drill press. You will understand when you see the part. I have no other photos at this time I wish to publish. If you are unsure, note the many slow speed drive units and styles I offer here on eBay. I have one for most 13 to 17" (and some 20") drill presses manufactured in the USA before imports flooded the country. Belt sizes suggested above are not guaranteed or included. I would love to know what you end up with. I do not yet own a sample of this drill press in which to answer the question with precision. Do front belt first with the goal of setting the pully near the middle of it's throw when pulled taught against belt. Rear belt is less critical as the motor mount moves in and out. The rear belt should be sized such that you must move the motor mount back away from the casting at least 1" in order to tighten the belt set. This will give you a good range of motion on the center pulley for easy belt speed changes when you pull your motor in. Of course, the center pulley floats so no tools required to adjust it - an improvement over the vintage units. DO NOT force the belt to lip over pully flanges without creating slack by moving the motor in for the belt change. Customer Comment: (Spark***) Thanks for a great part that makes a vintage drill press much more friendly! Installation was easy, looks like it belongs there. I ended up with a 29" belt from your idler to the spindle, that put the idler close to the center of the travel. The belt from the motor to the idler is 27 1/2" , but there's quite a bit of adjustment in the motor. Thanks again, and Merry Christmas!! (Note, belt size is the commenters suggestion and not warranted by this listing or seller.) Customer Comment: The adapter arrived at work yesterday and I installed it this evening when I got home. It’s really a great product. That’s a nice bit of design work on your part; much cleverer than the Sears/King Sealy originals. The fit was perfect (actually a little bit tight) and I had no trouble installing it. I even had enough link belt (the cheap Harbor Freight stuff) to make up both belts without having to go buy anything. The machine is running great. Thanks for all your help and for making these available! Ethan
