Description: Here we have a really cute and fun set of four 2-piece plate and mug place settings from Crate & Barrel. A complete service for four kids (of any age, including those simply young at heart) needing a warm drink and a sandwich or snack or dessert after a winter outing. Designed by Julia Bullmore. Includes a total of 8 pieces (4 plates and 4 mugs, with four different motifs.) We have lots of fabulous antique, vintage and contemporary dinnerware in our store, to which we add new inventory daily, and we're always happy to combine shipping at actual cost. Vintage: circa 2000 Approximate measurements: plates -- 8" diameter, and mugs -- 3.75" height and 3.25" diameter Condition: Our photographs reveal the condition best -- please enlarge and zoom in on them, and examine them carefully. We often add graphics such as arrows, circles, and text boxes to our photos to point out things of interest that might be hard to see, such as a price tag or maker's mark, as well as to highlight many condition flaws. Very clean and fresh pieces, bright, shiny and colorful. One cup has crazing in the bottom of the interior, and another cup has a very light mark on the interior as well. Otherwise, the only signs of use are scattered, very light, completely colorless, scratches to the glaze, the kind that can only be seen with the piece is held up at just the right angle to a direct source of bright light. With the exception of the flaws noted on the interior of the two cups, there are no chips, cracks, crazing, stains, silver/gray utensil marks or any other types of marks. We consider funky odors (cigarette smoke, mildew, etc) to be an important part of a condition report.
