Description: This is my previous sound system I built for underneath the back bench seat of my previous Ford F-150. I chose these subs & this setup due to its small imprint or space requirements. I love good heavy hitting subs but I was unwilling to give up the space in my truck needed for a 12" or 15" subwoofer setup so I wanted to find the baddest ass 6.5" subwoofers I could find in order to be able to fit it all underneath my back seat & not compromise any of my passengers personal space & I believe I found the PERFECT subs to accomplish this with! These are the CT Sounds MESO 4ohm 6.5" mini subwoofer powerhouses! These things blew me away with their SQ & Bass production from such a small subwoofer! I was not expecting them to sound as impressive as they do! These little bad boys have a 800W max 400W RMS rating & I believe every bit that they are correctly rated & not over rated like many Chinese Subwoofers will be that you can purchase these days! I have them installed in a custom built box I built to the specs of the manufacturer for sealed enclosures that is made from 3/4" MDF board just painted black to match my interior. They are wired to a 1ohm load inside the box so that they can be pushed by a 700.1D monoblock CT Sounds amp which gives them a respectable 350RMS per sub & they handle it with absolute ease! It comes also with a CT Sounds LOC (line out converter) so you don't have to change your stock head unit if you don't want to making it less of a hassle for you to set up a system in a new vehicle with a touchscreen head unit for example. This LOC is incredibly more sophisticated than the sosche or PAC LOC's you see at Walmart and other retail stores. This thing can account for bass roll off in newer vehicles that have bass roll off meaning when you turn your volume up the bass automatically is turned down to keep from blowing your factory speakers this LOC allows you to dial in JUST your subwoofers bass level even though you are sharing the same signal as your stock speakers it's honestly very impressive at least I think so. If you have a multi channel amp with multiple speakers it can help you tune each individual signal to each amp out put you name it this LOC can do it I almost guarantee you it will. So again this is a plug & play setup that comes with all the wiring & fuses & fuse holder needed to set up as soon as received & the subs are installed in a custom built sealed box to manufacturers specs wired to a 1ohm load. I also want to mention that If you're thinking that I'm selling this setup because it isn't good enough or I'm not happy with the CT Sounds products I assure you that is not the case! I actually am selling it because I recently purchased a brand new 2024 F-150 & I just don't feel comfortable installing anything aftermarket in it until the warranty is expired as they are pretty picky about warranty issues these days & I'd rather wait until my warranty runs out which is 36,000 miles or 2yrs which ever comes 1st & I only ha 7,500miles on it so far so I don't want this system to set around & rot not being used. & When my warranty does finally end then I'll probably install the same exact system in this truck but I'm thinking about trying 3 or 4 not because 2 suck but I'm used to like 2x 15" systems so I like a ton of bass... But you will be thoroughly impressed with how much bass these 2 subs have I promise! So finally purchase will include: * 2x CT Sounds MESO 6.5" dual vc 4ohm subwoofers 800W max 400W RMS power rating already wired at a 1ohm load in a custom built sealed box * 1x CT Sounds 700.1 D monoblock amplifier * 1x CT Sounds LOC line out converter * All the wire needed to wire it up & start bumping the moment you get it. The power & ground wire are 100%ofc 5Ga wire. The speaker wire is also 100%ofc 12ga speaker wire it'll come with quite a few extra feet of the speaker wire besides what is already used to wire up the subs inside the box. Probably close to 6'-7' worth of speaker wire. Then the 80Amp fuse & fuse holder. Truly a plug N play system that is worth every penny I assure you!
