Herder Abr Sohn Solingen Germany Antler Spade Blade Knife Display This knife he just kept on his desk as a unique display piece. It has an antler cap to go over the tip. The blade is definitely unique in design and shape. This is a fixed blade knife with Friedr. Herder Abr. Sohn Solingen Germany and the spade on it. This blade is pretty sharp but I am guessing it could be sharpened more. The handle has Antler/Stag. Most likely Elk or Whitetail. A token or coin was used for the bolster. Blade measures 4" x 1 3/8" (widest part). The whole knife measures 5". The widest part of the handle is just under 4" in diameter. The blade is marked. See photos. The tip is pointed.
