DecoArt Dry Solid Stencil Paint Easy Blend Cream for blushing dolls 8 Colors

Red Iron Oxide and Terra Cotta work well when mixed with white to use as a skin tone to cover flaws such as marks and pox on vinyl. Red Iron Oxide is also excellent for blushing dark-colored (AA--black) dolls. Dark Chocolate and Burnt Sienna work well for covering up flaws for dark skinned dolls. I use this paint for reblushing cabbage patch kid dolls. Doll not included. These are no longer sold in stores. I was able to find the last of this color overseas and nearly bought them out. A little bit goes a long way. My own personal jar I've been using for many years and still have a ton of it left. I have reblushed lots of dolls with it. 1. First get any goopy liquid off the top. (see note below). 2. Peel a little bit of the dried layer off. That will reveal a cream paint texture just like a lipstick. 3. Dab a little on a rag, then dab onto cheek. 4. Rub it in with a clean rag to blend it around the cheek. If you mess up, remove it with alcohol and start again. It dries in 24 hours. When you are done, in a couple of days a layer of paint skin will form to protect the paint itself inside the jar. I use it myself with fantastic results but some customers think the paint is dried out. It is meant to be thick and dense to achieve the excellent dry brush results required of it. ****Note: Some of the jars have become goopy on top, but it is still good. You need to wipe all of the sticky away carefully, which I think is the oil that has separated. I wiped mine away with a rag and made sure it was all gone before breaking the skin which is underneath. Under the skin, the cream will be fine. I dig only a small enough hole for my finger with a rag and after use, I use a small piece of plastic wrap over the top. When you peel off the plastic wrap, it also peels off the dried skin. Then when done, I put the plastic wrap back over the top. It will keep soft if you do this. Please note: This is dry brush paint, it is not liquid. Here is what the packaging says (not included as it had to be taken out of packaging to ship overseas): Stencil Paint Creme is concentrated, permanent color suitable for walls, fabric, wood or paper ... virtually any surface. While Stencil Paint Creme may look like a solid cake of paint, it is creamy when applied to the stenciling surface. A thin, protective film forms on the top surface of the paint which prevents it from drying out. Before applying color, remove protective film by rubbing the top surface of the paint cake with a paper towel. Use brush to pick up color right from the jar and apply it to surface. Brush lightly for a blush of color or layer more on for solid coverage. Because it dries slower than waterbased acrylic paints, blend and mix colors right on the stenciling surface. Stencil Paint Creme colors are intermixable. Stencil Paint Creme dries to the touch within 24 hours, but allow to dry thoroughly (a week or more) before washing any painted surface with mild soap and water. For fabric care: Prewash before stencil painting. Wash stenciled fabric with mild soap and cold water in gentle cycle. Remove fresh Stencil Paint Creme from stencils and brushes with dishwashing detergent and warm water. Use paint thinner for stubborn color. If you make a mistake while stenciling on walls or other hard surfaces, try removing excess paint with an ink eraser or with sticky side of masking tape. For fabrics try lifting off color with masking tape.
