Description: [zipedit] Denmark Event Publicity Poster Stamp Amtsudstilling = Regional Exposition or County Fair. This stamp depicts a bird's-eye view of the exhibition venue. The exhibition, with the theme park, stretched over 7½ acres of land. After the exposition's run of 14 days and some 85,000 visitors, the exhibition hall was moved to Fredericksgade where it was used for many years as a cattle trading hall, and became known as the Cattle Market. It was later used as a discotheque. The stamps were printed in sheets of 50 (10w x 5h) by Heinrich Meyer & Co., Svendborg. The sheets have the following inscription in the top and bottom margins: "Disse Mærker bedes anbragt paa Konvoluttens Bagside af al Deres Korrespondance" (Please use these stamps on all of your correspondence, placed on the back of the envelope).
