The only issue it had it was missing the tuner knob. I had a knob that fit it just right. Tested it and everything works as designed. It did not come with a remote control. I was able to purchase a replacement remote for RC-969 that controls the entire receiver perfectly, performs every funciton of the original remote. Comes with brand new alkaline batteries. There are currently thirty of these units listed on eBay. Eight are for parts only (not working) and are selling shipped for $100, $152, $173, $65, $172, $257, $213 and $110. Eighteen do not come with a remote, appear to be in good condition (but not as nice as mine) and are listed as working.
