SYNOPSIS: Jeff Chandler stars as gangster Vic Smith who gets deported back to Italy. Once he arrives in Italy he renews his criminal activities. He masterminds a black market racket, capitalizing upon war time shortages in Europe. He falls in love with a contessa and turns his back on his criminal activities.
