The leather is adhered to 6mm 6060 T5 aluminium blanks that eliminate bow and twist. HopStrop works excellent with guided sharpening systems like the Hapstone, TSProf, Edge Pro, Jende JIGS and any other system that utilises the 1” x 6” or 25mm x 150mm holder. The hide has a low fat content with a very thin grain layer. This makes the leather very strong and provides a hard stropping surface.
