Description: This vintage “Diana Dors in 3-D” booklet is in very good++ condition. Featuring the iconic actress and model Diana Dors, The Roye-Vala Stereo-Glamour Series No. 3 was published by the Camera Studies Club, London. There are eight 3-D photos of Diana Dors by Roye and Vala, and the original “Roye-Valla-Scope” 3-D glasses are included. The 3-D is more like 2-D as the green ink plate seems to be missing. The booklet measures 4” by 6-1/4”, and is 24 pages long. It is in very good++ condition showing some slight wear and handling. The staples have some corrosion. The inside pages are all clean and bright. There are a few written notations on the top of page 1. This booklet is a great addition to any collection of the famed Diana Dors and 3-D photography. See the pics. In 1954, Diana Dors’ then husband, Dennis Hamilton, had the idea of exploiting the newly printed technology of 3-D photography. He engaged photographer Horace Roye to take a number of nude and semi-nude photographs of Dors. The semi-nude pictures were published in a booklet by Roye-Vala, "Diana Dors in 3-D", which was sold with a pair of 3-D glasses.
