My son was top seeded in Canada and as a child was shipped new release booster boxes of cards as player rewards from WOTC. He pulled the ones he wanted for play out of the box and I always sleeved the rest right away. But in this case, all the foils had 'rough cuts' from the production equipment resulting in some foil missing on the front edges and minor 'picks' on the rear corners. I contacted WOTC and they said the cards were legal for play and not eligible for replacement. Well it is about the game after all. So these 'pack to sleeve' cards I list as near mint instead of M/NM.
