This design has a lower shelf with accent strips and multi-colored stain to give it a beautiful and unique look. This plan also has the option to replace the Silver Grey 1x8 with two 1x4’s if you like that look better or if the cost of wood is vastly cheaper with the 1x4 option. The photo above show the shelf with ½” accent strips, but the plans are designed with alternating 1x4’s and 1x2’s if you don’t have a table saw to rip ½’ strips.
