Dolmar Sachs 166 chainsaw powerhead Some Parts Missing But Could Be Brought Back

Description: To start with..its piston burned through but did not break on this saw...It deposited aluminium melted residue on the wall of the cylinder. The cylinder itself can be re-honed and brought back to life with minimal effort. Carburator missing parts...screws, gaskets, float etc but about 90 percent there. Pull works and spins the crank and piston rod. No play, pretty solid engine. As I said no piston, but I kept the pin and rolling bushing zip tied to the rod. One corner of the saw body is cracked, chipped from previous shipping. Not affecting function but nevertheless. Muffler has a seam split and rusty. Choke and gas lever are missing some linkage from what I can see. Some additional hardware might be missing, some is included (see photos). This saw is sold for PARTS but with some effort and parts search could be brought back to working condition. Please do not buy if your level of mechanical ability is below average. On the bright side, these saws are highly sought after and collectible and sell for twice as much in good condition.
