Description: The German Panther was one of the best tanks to see service in WWII, designed from the outset to regain combat superiority over Soviet tanks on the Eastern Front. It represented an ideal balance of firepower, mobility and protection. The final production version was the Ausf.G, which featured improvements such as a simplified hull to speed up production. This Panther Ausf.G is differentiated by featuring steel road wheels. The Gummigefederten Stahllaufrollen (steel road wheels with internal rubber cushions) was fitted to a series of 24 Panther G tanks instead of regular rubber-rimmed road wheels. About This Model : This Panther G represents a tank from an unidentified unit fighting in Germany as the Third Reich was crumbling towards defeat. The tank is finished in a most interesting late-war camouflage scheme that really stands out. It has custom-painted with a web of over-sprayed sand color that makes the vehicle look quite different to any other Panther. In keeping with this period, there are no tactical markings on the vehicle. This Panther Ausf.G with steel road wheels has been accurately reproduced, and it represents something different thanks to its unique camouflage finish. PleaseNote: Model is Brand New.
