Description: David Perkins spearing decoys are highly collectible with their own unique personality, and this one has a great personality!!! The patriotic red, white and blue decoys originated around the time of Desert Storm. This 8" wooden DFD duck is in excellent condition, has glass eyes and the lead belly weight stamped with "DFD". Additionally, the decoy is featured on p. 97 in his book, David E. Perkins Duluth Fish Decoys by Richard and Raymond Bonin, as well as on the back cover with the authors. The "worn" spots on the decoy are part of the original design. I apologize for any glare in the photos... DFDs have a sheen to them that is hard to avoid when taking pictures. See photos!
