Eagle Lock Co. made trunk locks from about 1850 to 1952 in Terryville, Conn. These Eagle locks are NOT reproduced. Old locks look MUCH better on old trunks or chests than the cheap light weight reproductions! A lock style used from the early to mid 1900's on many types of trunks. Well made and HEAVY DUTY. Brass plated steel with a solid brass center lock mechanism. Comes with 2 original Eagle barrel keys! This lock is in excellent condition! Works well. The lock measures 6" tall and 3 1/4" wide to the edges when together. The lock requires a hole 1 1/2" diameter for the bottom part. Install with trunk nails, screws, or rivets.
