Description: I have two versions of this Celery holder. Note that in the 1800s celery was an expensive delicasy and hard to get so they made a special holder for it. As such, Celeries are much rarer than other pieces. This was most likely made by Gillander and Sons of Pittsburgh PA, but versions were also made by other glass houses. This one has a three part mold base and stands 8 1/2 inches tall; it is in excellent condition
